Please join us for a day of talks from academics and Reiki professionals, shedding light on the fascinating history and possibilities of Reiki. There will also be amazing exercises, experiences to extend our horizon, and one of the world’s largest in-person Reiki shares.
Meet The Speakers
Torsten A. Lange is the founder and director of The Reiki Academy in London, an international speaker and workshop facilitator, and the only Hay House author for Reiki.
His research revealed new information about Reiki history in Japan and led him to finding the world’s first independent scientific proof of the different vibrational levels of Reiki.
His new book, “Proof of Reiki, Proof of Eternity”, has been published in 2021.

Duncan Cross (PhD, PgCert, BSc (Hons), PGCE, QTLS, FSET, MBPsS, FCIEA, PFHEA, NTF) is an Associate Teaching Professor in the School of Education and Psychology, the Academic Lead for Education and the Programme Lead for the PgCert Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education.
He is chair ofd the research group of the UK Reiki Federation.

Besides working as a professional Reiki therapist and teacher, Anne-Marie is chair of the UK Reiki Federation , the largest Reiki professional organisation in the UK.
She is also a member of Profession Specific Board of the CNHC .

Alexander came to Reiki in 2002. He is a psychotherapist in training and Reiki practitioner with his own practice. Until 2018, he worked in the travel and tourism industry. In addition, he was editorial assistant for Touch, the Reiki Association magazine, and part of the visioning group for Connecting Reiki With Medicine.
He is a director of the Reiki Healthcare Research Trust, a non-profit organisation that raises money to support clinical Reiki education and evidence-based, peer reviewed research into Reiki in healthcare settings.

Diana Shaw, Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master, was initiated into Reiki in 1994. She was one of the founders of Connecting Reiki with Medicine. Since its conception in 2020, she has been involved with Reiki Medic-Care , and project managed the development of the organisation’s bespoke online research portal. Diana has worked in communications for non-profit organisations for 30 years, including for the British Red Cross (current) and BBC Media Action, and is also a director of the Reiki Healthcare Research Trust.

Seena is a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki practitioner, practising in Bromley, Kent. Seena first came to learn Reiki in 2012 whilst working in the Banking industry, and has since transitioned to professional practice; now CNHC registered. Seena is a director of Reiki Medic-Care (a non-profit company) and has been part of the team since September 2020 and is a member of The Reiki Association.

A Reiki practitioner with over 15 years’ experience, Rupert is a senior teacher at the Reiki Academy London.
He also has a private Reiki practice and worked for many years as a volunteer in a hospice.
Rupert balances his time between Reiki and his work as an actor – a training that he uses in his Reiki chanting.

Maureen’s Reiki learnings come from both the Japanese and Western lineage and she has attained the Reiki Master and Teacher level with Joyce Thom who is based in the United States, as well as Torsten Lange from the Reiki Academy London.
She is a registered practitioner with Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) , and a member of UK Reiki Federation (UKRF) and Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
Her “Reflections on Reiki Therapy in a Clinical NHS Setting” are published on the Reiki Council website.
